About the Institute
Year of establishment: November 3, 1943. After several reforms, the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan was established in its current status on February 17, 2017 on the basis of the Institute of Mathematics within the National University of Uzbekistan.
Director: Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Academician Ayupov Shavkat Abdullayevich.
Staff: Scientific staff - 207 people, including: Doctors of Sciences - 55 people (of which 7 are academicians), Candidates of Sciences and PhDs - 52 people, without a scientific degree - 28 people. In addition, there are doctoral students - 5, basic doctoral students - 29, interns - 8, other employees - 32 people.
