COOPERATION IN THE DIRECTION OF QUALITY EDUCATION In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set at the videoconference meeting held in the form of an open dialogue with young people on February 14, 2025 under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry on the organization of a group for in-depth preparation of students for the most prestigious "Top-10" universities in the world, students of the "International Finance" Academic Lyceum of the Tashkent State University of Economics today visited the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Professor Gafurjon Ibragimov, Ph.D., from the Institute of Mathematics, introduced the lyceum students to the areas of scientific research conducted at the institute. A roundtable discussion was held on the topics of taking the SAT exams to enter the "Top Ten Universities", how to prepare for these exams, and an analysis of the types of questions and tasks of the SAT exam. Professor Gafurjon Ibragimov introduced the lyceum students to the courses "Dynamic Systems and Their Applications", the Scientific Seminar Room, the Scientific Library of the Institute of Mathematics, "Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics", "Computational Mathematics", "Algebra and Its Applications" introduced the activities of a number of laboratories and the research areas being conducted in them. Professor G. Ibragimov gave an interesting presentation on the fact that today scientists of the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences are conducting research in a number of scientific and innovative areas for the sectors of the national economy and their implementation. In addition, he said that scientists of the Institute of Mathematics are members of a number of prestigious foreign academies of the world, and their scientific work is highly recognized. He said that scientists of the Institute are publishing scientific articles in high-quartile journals on the international Scopus and Web of Science platforms. Professor G. Ibragimov answered the questions of the students of the academic lyceum.
