The next general meeting of the Uzbek Mathematical Society was held at the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was dedicated to the issues of worthy celebration of the 110th anniversary of the birth of the great scientist, academician Tashmuhammad Aliyevich Sarimsakov, who made a great contribution to the development of science in Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by members of the society, leading mathematicians of our country, young researchers and representatives of the scientific community. They especially noted the rich scientific heritage of academician T.A. Sarimsakov, one of the founders of the modern Uzbek school of mathematics, and his fundamental research in the fields of probability theory, functional analysis and topology, which has been recognized worldwide. At the event, T.A. Sarimsakov's incomparable services in training highly qualified personnel in our republic as not only a great scientist, but also a skilled teacher and organizer of science were remembered. It was noted that under his leadership many doctors and candidates of sciences have matured, who today continue the work of their mentors and introduce Uzbek science to the world.
