Academician Abdulla Azamov Delivered an Invited Lecture at an International Conference in Russia

From 7 to 10 July 2026, the V.A. Steklov Institute of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences hosted the international conference "Dynamical Systems: Inverse Problems, Stability, and Control Processes", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Academician Yuri Sergeyevich Osipov.

Academician Abdulla Azamov of the V.I. Romanovskiy Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan participated in the conference as an invited speaker and delivered a lecture entitled "Alternating Pontryagin Integral as a Mathematical Phenomenon." The conference program consisted exclusively of 45-minute invited lectures presented by leading researchers in the field.

During the conference, participants exchanged views on current developments and applications of optimal control theory, while discussing prospects for future scientific collaboration.

In addition, meetings were held with D.V. Treshev, Director of the V.A. Steklov Institute of Mathematics, and A.A. Davidov, Head of the Department of Dynamical Systems at Lomonosov Moscow State University and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The parties reached preliminary agreements on organizing an international scientific conference in Tashkent in 2027.

The conference provided an important opportunity to strengthen international scientific cooperation, promote joint research initiatives, and enhance the global engagement of the Uzbek mathematical community.
