Institute of Mathematics PhD Student Selected for Prestigious IAEA–ICTP STEP Program

Davrbek Oltiboyev, a PhD student at the V.I. Romanovskiy Institute of Mathematics, has been accepted into the prestigious IAEA–ICTP Sandwich Training Educational Programme (STEP).

As part of this program, he will conduct scientific research and internships at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy, between 2026 and 2028. Key details include:

• 3 separate visits to the center;

• A total duration of 9 months of scientific research.

All related expenses, including travel and living costs, will be fully covered by the ICTP.
