Admission to Postgraduate Education for 2027: Presentation Requirements and Evaluation Criteria

In accordance with Decree No. PF-98 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 26, 2026, “On Improving the System for Training and Attestation of a New Generation of Scientific Personnel,” Resolution No. 304 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 22, 2017, and Order No. 337 of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 11, 2026, the V.I. Romanovskiy Institute of Mathematics announces the necessary materials related to the 2027 admission process for Doctor of Science (DSc), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and trainee researcher programs.

Applicants are requested to review the following materials in advance:

1. Appendices on the requirements for preparing a research presentation;
2. Evaluation criteria for the research presentation;
3. Methodological guidelines for preparing, delivering, and evaluating the research presentation.

Each applicant will be allocated 15 minutes for the research presentation and 10 minutes for the question-and-answer session.

During the question-and-answer session, the applicant’s theoretical knowledge of fundamental disciplines relevant to the chosen specialization, as well as their research preparedness, will be assessed.

Accordingly, in addition to preparing their presentations, all applicants are advised to review and strengthen their knowledge of the fundamental disciplines relevant to their specialization.
